Databend
Databend is an open-source cloud data warehouse built in Rust, designed as a cost-effective alternative to Snowflake for large-scale analytics workloads. The platform provides SQL analytics, full-text search, vector search, and AI agent orchestration capabilities in a single unified engine. Databend is available as a fully managed cloud service (Databend Cloud) and as a self-hosted enterprise edition, both built on a cloud-native, storage-compute separated architecture. The core community edition is released under the Apache 2.0 license, while enterprise features are licensed under the Elastic 2.0 license.
