DiceDB is an open-source, low-latency key/value engine built on Valkey (a fork of Redis) with query subscriptions and hierarchical storage tiers. It extends Valkey with additional capabilities including the OBSERVE command for real-time push updates and dicedb-spill for transparent disk-based overflow, while maintaining full compatibility with the Redis and Valkey SDK ecosystem.
