Proton AG is a Swiss technology company that provides a suite of open-source, end-to-end encrypted privacy tools including email, VPN, cloud storage, calendar, password manager, and authenticator. Founded in 2014 by scientists from CERN and MIT, the company is majority owned by the non-profit Proton Foundation and serves over 100 million users worldwide. All Proton applications are open source and have been independently audited by third-party security experts.
