Designed as an Apache 2.0-licensed alternative to MinIO, RustFS delivers 2.3x faster performance than MinIO for small object payloads and supports multi-cloud, edge, and on-premises deployments. The project supports enterprise features including erasure coding, cross-region replication, encryption, lifecycle management, and WORM compliance.
