Sourcebot
Sourcebot is a self-hosted platform that helps developers and AI agents understand large codebases. It provides AI-powered code search, natural language Q&A across repositories, and an MCP server for enriching agent context windows with code. Deployed as a Docker container on-premises, Sourcebot integrates with GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, and other code hosts, and supports any LLM provider via bring-your-own-key. It is used by engineering teams at organizations including NVIDIA, Red Hat, Wikimedia Foundation, and Arista Networks.
