ApeCloud is the company behind KubeBlocks, an open-source Kubernetes operator that provides a unified control plane for running and managing multiple database engines—including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB, Kafka, and more—on Kubernetes. The company offers both a community edition and an enterprise platform (KubeBlocks Enterprise) that enables organizations to deploy and operate dozens of database and middleware engines with full lifecycle management. ApeCloud was founded in 2022 by former Alibaba Cloud database leaders and is a member of the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF).
