Greptime
Greptime builds GreptimeDB, an open-source observability database designed around the Observability 2.0 paradigm. Rather than treating metrics, logs, and traces as separate pillars requiring separate systems, GreptimeDB stores all three signal types as unified wide events in a single columnar engine backed by object storage. Built on Rust and Apache DataFusion, it offers native PromQL and SQL query support, OpenTelemetry compatibility, and compute-storage separation for scalable, cost-efficient deployments.
