ntfy is an open-source, HTTP-based pub-sub notification service that allows users to send push notifications to phones or desktops via simple PUT/POST requests from any computer or script. The service requires no sign-up for basic use and is available as a free hosted service at ntfy.sh, as well as a self-hostable server. ntfy is dual-licensed under the Apache 2.0 and GPLv2 licenses and offers paid plans (ntfy Pro) for users who want reserved topics or higher message limits.
